These are about 30 little pin pricks.
All of these have appeared in the past month. How fucking pathetic does your life have to be to feel jealous of a fifteen year old car?

You need to take care of those pin-pricks asap, or you could have your clear coat start to de-laminate (or whatever you would call it).

Any idea what I should do? Just take it to a body shop and have it repainted?

You should be able to get a paint repair kit, or just a clear coat kit and dab some new clear coat over the spots, then polish them out.

I think you’re over thinking it.
You’re parking in a public space next to shitty drivers, is all.

Yep, seems likely Hanlon’s Razor applies here.

One problem with that: I park in the corner of the top floor of a six floor parking garage. At any given day, there are no more than three other cars on the same floor as mine. Also, that scratch in the last picture definitely wasn’t caused by a car.

Is it a company lot? If it is you should report that your car has been vandalized. Maybe they have security footage of it.

Could have been a black plastic side view mirror. Nearly everything there will compound right out.

You’ve got it easy dude, sine April I have gotten 15 door dings that dented the car in the work parking garage. 3 of them are on the crease style line thing and the door skins are aluminum iirc.

You know, I feel you on this. I have had many new cars and many used. My new ones I would cry if this happened but it rarely did. My older cars like my current Bugeye are just growing dings dents and scratches. I only park at work and my own garage.
For fear of sounding like a consipiracy theorist, I keep to myself. But, I know that someone is causing them. I am not losing it and I do not believe you are either!

I used to park in a parking deck at work. I too went out of my way to park as far away from 99.9% of people. Most people would park in the closet spot to the elevator. I still got damage. Turned out to be the guys who were paid to blow the deck with leaf blowers. They were essentially sand blasting my car, not to mention scraping it with the backpack part of the blower. Lesson learned, never park close to a wall/corner. They will do whatever it takes to get all the debris.

Are those actually pin pricks or little indentions? Because my friend had a car where something similar happened and it turned out it the garage folks using a freaking leaf blower to clean the lot. Lots of little pebbles and crap got blown directly into his car on multiple occasions. He would’ve never known, but a colleague came back to work from an appointment and saw it happening.
